Legacy Designs, Inc. of Rockford is seeking a Professional Engineer – Mechanical Design to deliver mechanical design and engineering services for MEP/FP projects.

The role focuses on building systems, load calculations, and CAD-based drawings while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders. The position is full-time and hybrid, based in Rockford, IL, with occasional site visits and in-office meetings as needed.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required or closely related field.
• PE licensure or ability to obtain licensure preferred.
• Knowledge of building codes (ASHRAE, NFPA) and MEP/FP coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mechanical load calculations for MEP/FP projects.
• Develop system concepts and detailed mechanical designs.
• Create CAD drawings and specifications for projects.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders.
• Support project management activities, schedules, and submittals.
