Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step-Down in Decatur, GA. This full-time day shift offers a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 and a bridge between ICU and medical-surgical care. The unit supports with PCTs, charge nurses, and a strong leadership team.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, care planning, and coordination with the care team. A Georgia RN license and BLS are required; new grads eligible.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments across the patient lifecycle.
• Develop and implement a care plan; reassess as needed.
• Coordinate care with ancillary staff and unit leadership.
• Document care accurately in patient records and meet standards.
• Identify teaching opportunities for patients and families.
• Communicate issues to Charge Nurse/Clinical Manager.
• Adhere to unit policies and evidence-based nursing practices.
