Job summary

Piedmont Eastside in Snellville, GA is seeking an RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down on full-time days. A sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is available and you’ll work in a high-acuity unit equipped with modern technology to support patient-centered care. You’ll perform patient assessments, coordinate care across disciplines, and lead with professional accountability.

Minimum education: nursing program graduate; GA RN license or NLC/eNLC; BLS. New graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• BLS certification required.
• New graduates eligible.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments including health history.
• Evaluates developmental age during assessments.
• Organizes data to form a plan of care.
• Carries out plan of care to meet outcomes.
• Provides care aligned with patient needs and condition.
• Oversees activities of supportive staff.
• Identifies teaching opportunities for patients.
• Communicates issues to Charge Nurse or physician.
• Documents care in the patient record.
