Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC is partnering with a regional healthcare system in Great Falls, MT to recruit a full-time Progressive Care Unit RN for night shifts on-site. You will deliver specialized nursing care to patients on an advanced medical/surgical unit, coordinate care, and support a collaborative clinical team.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN with MT RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and recent PCU/ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Montana RN licensure; compact/endorsement eligibility acceptable.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or obtained within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to hemodynamically stable or unstable PCU patients.
• Manage diverse patient population including post-procedure and medical cases.
• Monitor and intervene to prevent deterioration using telemetry and vitals.
• Operate arterial/central lines, chest tubes, and short-term ventilatory support.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge planning.
• Precept and guide LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary staff.
