Job summary

KingRecruitingServices has partnered with a regional healthcare system in Great Falls, MT to recruit a committed Progressive Care Unit RN for a full-time, night shift position on-site.

The ideal candidate will bring ADN with BSN preferred, active MT RN license, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Prior PCU/ICU experience and pediatric exposure are highly valued in this team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in Montana (or compact/endorsement eligibility).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or obtained within 6 months). EPNC/TNCC preferred.
• Post-graduate clinical practice in an advanced Medical/Surgical unit with ICU/PCU experience.
• Pediatric nursing experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable PCU patients.
• Manage a diverse patient population including pre/post-PCI care, pacemaker care, and complex surgeries.
• Monitor patients using telemetry and intervene to prevent deterioration.
• Operate arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, NG tubes, IV pumps, and short-term ventilatory support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission through discharge planning.
• Lead on the floor as a clinical mentor to LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary staff.
