Job summary
Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for nights on-site in Great Falls, MT. You will provide specialized nursing care for a diverse PCU patient population and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent nurse-to-patient ratios and high-quality care.
Ideal candidates bring post-graduate PCU/ICU experience, active Montana RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
- Active Montana RN license (or compact/endorsement).
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (or obtained within 6 months).
- Post-graduate clinical experience in an advanced Medical/Surgical unit with ICU/PCU/Stepdown exposure.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for hemodynamically stable or at-risk PCU/stepdown patients.
- Manage pre/post-PCI care and complex surgical cases.
- Monitor for deterioration and stabilize patients using advanced assessment tools.
- Operate arterial/central lines and other critical equipment.
- Coordinate discharge planning with multidisciplinary teams.
- Precept and guide LPNs, CNAs, and support staff on the floor.
