Job summary
Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Progressive Care Unit RN in Great Falls, Montana for a full-time, on-site day-shift position. This role emphasizes high-quality patient care in a unit with favorable nurse-to-patient ratios and robust administrative support.
The PCU RN will manage diverse clinical cases from pre/post-PCI to complex surgeries, monitor advanced equipment, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; leadership and precepting duties are essential.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required; BSN preferred.
- Active Montana RN license or compact endorsement.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or within 6 months).
- Recent ICU/PCU/stepdown nursing experience.
- Newborn pediatric experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to PCU patients on advanced medical/surgical unit.
- Manage diverse patient population including post-PCI and complex surgery cases.
- Monitor for deterioration and intervene as needed.
- Operate arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, NG tubes, IV pumps, vent support.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge planning.
- Lead on the floor, precepting staff and guiding LPNs/CNAs.
