Job summary

Confident Search Consultants seeks a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for nights on-site in Great Falls, Montana. The RN will provide skilled nursing care on an advanced medical/surgical/stepdown unit, support pre/post-PCI and complex procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an ADN with MT RN licensure or compact/endorsement eligibility, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and ICU/PCU experience. Pediatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN is required, BSN preferred.
• Active, unrestricted Montana RN licensure or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or must be obtained within 6 months); EPNC/TNCC preferred.
• Post-graduate clinical practice in an advanced Medical/Surgical unit with recent ICU or PCU/Stepdown experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to hemodynamically stable or transitioning PCU patients.
• Manage diverse patient population including pre/post-PCI care and complex surgical cases.
• Monitor and respond to deteriorating clinical conditions using telemetry and equipment.
• Operate arterial/central lines, chest tubes, NG tubes, IV pumps, and ventilatory support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge planning; mentor staff.
