Job summary

Meritas Advisory Group, LLC is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, nights position in Great Falls, Montana. This role offers strong nurse-to-patient ratios, robust administrative support, and a collaborative team culture.

The PCU RN will care for hemodynamically stable to unstable patients, manage post-PCI and other complex cases, and guide junior staff on the floor while coordinating with the multidisciplinary team. Montana RN license required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active Montana RN license or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or obtained within 6 months). EPNC and TNCC preferred.
• Post-graduate clinical experience in Medical/Surgical with ICU/PCU/stepdown exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to hemodynamically stable or unstable PCU patients.
• Manage post-PCI care, complex surgical cases, and diverse patient populations.
• Monitor for deterioration and stabilize clinical conditions.
• Operate advanced medical equipment (arterial lines, chest tubes, NIV support)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge planning.
• Precept and support LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary staff.
