Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site nights position in Great Falls, Montana. Join a dedicated clinical team in a setting that emphasizes patient-centered care and strong nurse-to-patient ratios.

The RN will provide specialized care to a mixed PCU population, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and serve as a floor leader to mentor LPNs and CNAs while maintaining clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required, BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized, direct nursing care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients on an advanced medical/surgical and stepdown unit.
• Manage a broad and diverse patient population, including pre/post-PCI care, pacemaker placements, revascularization, carotid endarterectomy, thoracotomy, CHF, COPD, DKA, sepsis, and complex surgical cases.
• Utilize assessment and intervention tools to monitor for deterioration and stabilize conditions.
• Operate and manage advanced medical equipment, including arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, tubes, IV pumps, and short-term ventilatory support.
• Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission through discharge planning.
• Act as a clinical leader on the floor, assisting with precepting new staff and guiding LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary teams.
