Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC partners with a regional health system to recruit a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Great Falls, Montana. This full-time, nights position offers stable team-based care in an environment with favorable nurse-to-patient ratios.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN (BSN preferred), active Montana RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with recent PCU/ICU or stepdown experience and pediatric exposure a plus.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Active, unrestricted MT RN licensure or compact/endorsement eligibility.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or obtained within 6 months).
• EPNC and TNCC certifications highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to hemodynamically stable or controllably unstable PCU/stepdown patients.
• Care for pre/post-PCI, pacemaker, revascularization, and complex surgical cases.
• Monitor for deterioration and intervene using advanced assessment tools.
• Operate arterial/central lines, chest tubes, NGTs, and ventilatory support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge planning.
• Precept new staff and support LPNs/CNAs on the floor.
