ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN to join a dedicated inpatient team in Great Falls, Montana. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes excellent nurse-to-patient ratios and a supportive environment focused on teamwork.

Ideal candidates have PCU/stepdown experience, strong telemetry and ECG interpretation skills, and active Montana RN licensure with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or willing to obtain within 6 months).

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Montana or compact endorsement.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required or within 6 months.
• Post-graduate clinical practice in Medical/Surgical, with ICU/PCU/Stepdown experience.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to stable or variably unstable patients on a PCU/stepdown unit.
• Manage diverse patient population including pre/post-PCI, pacemaker, revascularization, and complex cases.
• Monitor and respond to patient status, recognizing deteriorations and intervening.
• Operate advanced medical equipment (arterial/central lines, chest tubes, ventilatory support).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge planning.
• Precept and support LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary staff on the floor.
