Job summary

Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site role in Great Falls, Montana.

You will care for hemodynamically stable to moderately unstable patients on a dedicated PCU/Stepdown unit and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate has a nursing degree and Montana RN licensure, with BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in Montana.
• Core certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (required or within 6 months). TNCC/EPNC preferred.
• Post-graduate clinical practice in an advanced Medical/Surgical unit with Critical Care or PCU/Stepdown experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients on an advanced medical/surgical/stepdown unit.
• Manage a diverse patient population including pre/post-PCI care and complex surgeries.
• Monitor for deteriorating conditions and intervene as needed.
• Operate arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, NG tubes, IV pumps, and short-term ventilatory support.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams from admission through discharge planning.
• Provide floor leadership and precepting to LPNs and CNAs.
