True North Consultants, Inc. seeks a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site role in Great Falls, MT. The position emphasizes excellent nurse-to-patient ratios, strong administrative support, and a culture of teamwork.

Qualificações

• Education: ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Active, unencumbered RN in Montana (or compact/endorsement eligibility).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (EPNC/TNCC preferred).
• Experience: Post-graduate clinical practice in an advanced Med/Surg unit with recent ICU/PCU experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide specialized nursing care for hemodynamically stable to unstable patients on PCU/stepdown.
• Manage a diverse patient population including PCI care, resections, CHF, COPD, DKA, sepsis, and complex surgical cases.
• Monitor and intervene using telemetry and cardiac monitoring; respond to deteriorating conditions.
• Operate advanced medical equipment (arterial lines, chest tubes, short-term ventilation).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge planning.
• Precept and support LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary staff on the floor.
