Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse to join a dedicated clinical team in Great Falls, MT. This full-time, on-site role offers a supportive environment with strong nurse-to-patient ratios and collaborative leadership.

The RN will provide specialized care on a PCU/stepdown unit, manage diverse cases, and participate in discharge planning. MT RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and post-graduate PCU/ICU experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in Montana (or compact/endorsement eligibility).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; TNCC/EPNC preferred.
• Post-graduate PCU/ICU or step-down nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to hemodynamically stable or unstable patients on PCU/stepdown.
• Manage diverse patient population including pre/post-PCI care and complex surgeries.
• Monitor and intervene to stabilize deteriorating conditions using telemetry and equipment.
• Operate arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, NG tubes, and ventilatory support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge, mentor staff.
