Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ is hiring a Certified Patient Care Assistant (CNA/LNA) for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will assist with daily living, monitor vital signs, and support the care team on high-acuity cardiac, neuro and general floors.

The role requires current BLS and CNA/LNA certification, strong teamwork and the ability to document accurately in the electronic medical record. Night shift, full-time, with weekend rotations and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Current CNA/LNA certification in state of practice required.
• One year of medical clerical experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care and basic nursing assistance in PCU.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and document in EMR.
• Report changes to licensed professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist with procedures and prepare supplies under supervision.
• Perform receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
• Maintain patient records and ensure chart forms are filed correctly.
