Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Neuro and Trauma Progressive Care Telemetry Unit (PCU). This Night shift role involves caring for high-acuity neuro/trauma patients, with opportunities to support other acute care cases.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the clinical area for which they are applying is desired.
• Telemetry/Neuro/Trauma exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate and implement a plan of care with measurable goals.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing care with the health care team.
• Document patient status and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
• Promote evidence-based practice and continuous improvement within the unit.
