Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Med Ctr in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant (CNA/LNA) for the Med Surg Float-Hosp unit. This night shift role involves direct patient care, ADLs, data collection, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

Minimum one year acute care nursing assistant experience, current BLS, and CNA licensure in-state are required. A sign-on bonus of $3000 is available for new Banner Health certified/licensed CNAs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Current CNA/LNA licensure in state of practice required for new hires/ transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic hygiene.
• Collect patient data and report abnormalities to licensed staff.
• Assist with procedures and use of medical equipment under supervision.
• Support unit operations, including clerical tasks and charting in EMR.
• Maintain patient records and supplies, including specimen transport as needed.
• Assist with patient transport and bed turnover in Med/Surg unit.
