Job summary

Banner Health in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a licensed CNA or LNA to join the Baywood Neuro Stroke Specialty Unit as a PCA on the night shift (7:00pm–7:30am) with a three 12-hour rotation and weekends/holidays as needed.

The ideal candidate will provide routine patient care, assist with activities of daily living, document in the EMR, and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality care for a diverse patient population including neuro, stroke, cardiac, medical, and post-surgical cases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current CNA/LNA is required for practice in the state.
• Experience in medical clerical tasks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and contribute to the care plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.
• Document patient data in the medical records and maintain unit workflow.
• Support unit operations and patient flow throughout the shift.
• Communicate changes in patient status to the licensed professional.
