Job summary

Banner Health in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse to join our 84‑bed PCU and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on a high-acuity cardiac patient population.

You will work 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm with weekend rotations and receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a 1-year commitment; Magnet recognition underscores our commitment to nursing excellence.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (or permit/compact where applicable).
• BLS certification is required.
• One year of acute care nursing experience is preferred.
• Experience in cardiac/PCU settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and discharge needs.
• Develop and revise plan of care with patient/family input.
• Coordinate and supervise care with the health care team.
• Document patient care and outcomes accurately in the record.
• Provide care based on evidence and contribute to nursing quality indicators.
