Job summary

UMass Memorial Health invites applications for a Patient Care Technician III in the Emergency Department. The role supports licensed clinicians, delivers direct patient care, performs basic nursing duties, and ensures patient safety and comfort in a high-acuity setting.

The position is non-exempt with a full-time schedule (40 hours), evening shift 2:45 PM–11:15 PM, 24 hours per week? and may include a signing bonus eligibility discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Non-Exempt role with schedule-based compensation.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under licensed clinician supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities and patient comfort.
• Monitor vital signs, collect specimens, and perform designated procedures.
