Job summary

MUHA (Medical University Hospital Authority) is seeking a Patient Care Technician II to support patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and relevant healthcare experience, with BLS certification within two weeks of hire.

Eligible candidates must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, and meet physical requirements as outlined.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of patient care work experience in a health care facility is preferred.
• CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or enrollment in a healthcare related program with completion of Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant/Nursing Fundamentals course is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs multi-skilled activities to support decentralized patient-centered care.
• Reports to the Nurse Manager as PCT II.
• Rotating 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
