Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUHA) is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support a decentralized, patient-centered approach under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The PCT will perform multi-skilled tasks to help achieve optimal patient outcomes in a 36-hour work week with 3 twelve-hour day shifts.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, healthcare experience, and certification such as CNA, EMT, or related program enrollment within two years of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum training includes high school diploma or GED and patient care work experience in healthcare.
• Certified Nursing Assistant or enrollment in a healthcare-related program within two years of hire.
• EMT or Paramedic certification or Nursing/Medical Assistant program completion.
