Job summary

The Patient Care Technician (PCT II) reports to the Nurse Manager. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the PCT II performs multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized patient-centered approach to patient care and achieve desired outcomes.

MUHA seeks qualified individuals for a rotating shift (36 hours per week) with hourly pay, BLS certification, and relevant healthcare experience or training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year PCT or patient care experience in a health care facility.
• College degree, or active nursing school enrollment with Nursing Fundamentals completion, or enrollment in a healthcare-related field.
• Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant training, or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 2 weeks of hire and maintained thereafter.
• Current Basic Life Support certification from AHA or Red Cross for Healthcare Providers.
