Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support the care team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will measure and document vital signs, monitor patient condition, and assist with daily living activities to enhance comfort and safety.

In this role you will work 7P-7A, 36 hours weekly, in a fast-paced hospital setting. A high school diploma is required, with BLS certification on hire and one year of health-care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• At least 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Keep patient rooms tidy and sanitized.
• Assist patients with daily living activities (hygiene, bathroom, grooming).
• Monitor vital signs and document readings (temperature, pulse, etc.).
• Assist nursing staff in administering basic treatments.
• Ensure rooms have adequate patient care supplies and clean linen.
• Provide emotional support and communicate concerns to care team.
