Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
• At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.

• Assist with personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, meal preparation, feeding, and using assistive devices.
• Encourage client independence and self-help skills.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and private environment, adhering to infection control and safety precautions.
• Perform secondary tasks like laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, and meal prep as needed.
• Notify supervisors of any client condition changes, unsafe environments, or concerns related to abuse or neglect.
• Respect client confidentiality, privacy, and rights while delivering care within scope of practice.
• Assist with medication self-administration (do not administer medications directly).
