Job summary

Miraval Austin Resort and Spa is seeking a Part Time PBX Operator to warmly greet guests over the phone and route calls with accuracy.

This role requires solid typing, a pleasant attitude, and the ability to handle a high volume of calls while providing hotel information and assistance.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience preferred but not required
• Customer service experience required
• Flexible schedule availability, including early mornings and late evenings
• Computer experience required – Excel experience and data entry highly recommended
• Must read, write and speak English
• Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills
• Ability to manage several applications and a high call volume

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls to the resort and provide a pleasant phone demeanor
• Route calls to appropriate hotel departments and colleagues
• Provide information on hotel services, amenities and local area
• Maintain accurate call logs and follow-up on requests
• Support guest satisfaction by professional and courteous service

This individual is responsible for answering incoming calls to the resort and must have good typing skills, a pleasant attitude and excellent phone demeanor. The PBX Telephone Operator must work well handling a high volume of calls. The PBX Telephone Operator should be comfortable and able to answer questions relating to the hotel.
