Intuit is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax notices, prepare amendments, and correct payroll errors in a high-volume environment. The position is remote with flexible hours, at least 20 hours per week, and overtime eligibility. Strong technical depth and customer-focused problem solving are key to success.

Qualifikationen

• 2–3+ years of hands-on payroll tax experience with focus on notices and amended returns.
• Knowledge of IRS/state notice types; read notices and determine resolution.
• Experience resolving notices, balance-due, penalties, SUI and deposits.
• Knowledge of tax payments and filings; employee vs employer tax responsibilities.
• Experience preparing amended Federal/State returns (941-X, W-2c).
• Familiarity with FICA/FUTA/FITW and deposit schedules.
• Multi-state payroll tax expertise; reciprocity and local compliance.
• Proficiency with at least one payroll platform and Salesforce.
• Excel/Google Sheets: VLOOKUP, pivots, reconciliations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with agencies.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance; 2-3+ years preferred.
• FPC required; CPP preferred; active CPP pursuit favored.

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts.
• Research and resolve complex state and federal notices from intake to closure.
• Prepare agency responses with supporting documentation by deadlines.
• Prepare amended returns (941-X, state equivalents) independently.
• Support payroll correction workflows and document audit trails.
