Qualifikationen

• Hands-on payroll tax experience focusing on notice resolution and amended returns.
• Ability to read notices, identify type, and determine resolution path.
• Experience preparing Federal/State amended payroll tax returns across multiple states.
• Knowledge of FICA, FUTA, FITW and payroll tax deposit schedules.

Aufgaben

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Research and resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices independently.
• Prepare agency responses with documentation and meet required deadlines.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (Form 941-X, W-2c) for complex cases.
• Support correction workflows by identifying sources of payroll errors and documenting audits.
• Manage personal WIP queue and prioritize cases by SLA dates.
• Conduct high-level trend analysis to identify process or system deficiencies.
• Contribute to SOP and knowledge base updates and cross-functional collaboration.
