Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to ensure accurate, timely resolution of notices, corrections, amendments, and Pay & File activities. The role emphasizes mentorship and independence in handling a high-volume workload.

As a core production contributor, you will own complex cases from intake to closure and collaborate across Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams while growing your technical depth.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll tax experience with focus on notices and amended returns.
• Ability to resolve state and federal payroll tax notices independently.
• Experience with Form 941-X, W-2c and related filings.
• Strong knowledge of FICA, FUTA, FITW and deposit schedules.
• Bachelor's/Associate in Accounting/Finance preferred; CPP a plus; active CPP pursuit favored.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work including notices and amendments.
• Research and resolve complex state and federal notices independently.
• Prepare agency responses with complete documentation within deadlines.
• Prepare amended returns (941-X, W-2c) with ownership.
• Support correction workflows and document audit trails.
• Maintain personal WIP queue and SLA-driven prioritization.
• Contribute to SOPs and knowledge base updates.
• Collaborate with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams.
