Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Lead Tax Processor and Subject Matter Expert to drive payroll tax operations. In this role, you will resolve the most complex issues, approve sophisticated tax filings, and govern SOPs while coaching the team to reduce escalations.

You’ll participate in cross-functional work, oversee WIP and aging reports, and leverage AI tools to improve workflow efficiency. Flexible hours and overtime eligibility are included.

Formación

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience with complex defect resolution.
• Experience as lead, senior specialist, or SME coaching staff.
• Expert knowledge of tax regulations across US jurisdictions.
• Advanced writing for SOPs and technical documents.
• Ownership of SLAs and proactive red-flag resolution.
• Validation-first mindset with vetted solutions.
• 5+ years handling highly sensitive escalations.
• 4+ years in contact center or back-office ops.
• Comfort with AI tools to improve workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary real-time technical expert for TP1-TP3 staff.
• Own authoring, review, and approval of SOPs and KB articles.
• Conduct formal coaching sessions quarterly using SBIC model.
• Lead or contribute to team huddles and daily standups backups.
• Oversee WIP, backlog, aging reports; advise staffing needs.
• Resolve severe payroll tax notices and discrepancies.
• Approve complex amended Federal/State returns with audit trails.
• Identify trends and communicate risk with data-driven responses.
• Represent team in cross-functional meetings with compliance focus.
