Job summary

Vensure is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Specialist to manage federal and state payroll tax compliance within the PEO sector. You will verify accuracy and timeliness of payroll tax activities in alignment with laws, regulations, and internal policies.

The role requires hands-on tax research and the ability to interpret complex tax codes, with emphasis on multi-state responsibilities. Work is on-site in a dynamic, global company offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of payroll tax and regulatory environment across federal, multi-state and local levels.
• Ability to read, understand, and analyze complex payroll tax data and regulations.
• Experience in high-volume payroll tax processing within a PEO or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or review tax-related documents ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Perform tax reconciliations and determine liabilities for various accounts/units.
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of tax forms and respond to client questions.
