Qualifications

• 2-5 years of payroll, accounting, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of payroll regulations (FLSA, federal/state taxes).
• Experience with Rippling or Paycom payroll systems.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivots.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including bonuses.
• Enter and maintain payroll data for hires, changes, and deductions.
• Review timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies before deadlines.
• Administer deductions for benefits, retirement plans, and garnishments.
• Reconcile payroll registers, tax filings, and GL accounts; assist journal entries.
• Support quarterly and year-end processes, including W-2s and tax filings.
• Respond to employee questions about paychecks and withholdings.
• Ensure compliance with wage and tax laws; assist audits.
• Identify process improvements for payroll documentation.
