Holistic Industries is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Westborough, MA onsite. You will own the end-to-end bi-weekly payroll process for multiple entities.

Responsibilities include reviewing timesheets, resolving discrepancies with managers, answering employee payroll questions, and maintaining payroll records including taxes, direct deposits, and deductions. You will partner with our payroll provider for taxes and reporting, support audits, and contribute to a compliant payroll

Qualifications

• Experience processing payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Proficient with Excel and HRIS platforms.
• Kronos experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving.
• Effective communicator and collaborator across teams.

Holistic Industries is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team and help ensure employees are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with company policies and payroll regulations. This role is a key resource for both team members and managers, partnering closely with our payroll provider to support a smooth and positive payroll experience across multiple locations.

Your Impact

• Own the end-to-end bi-weekly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely pay for employees across multiple entities
• Review and audit timesheets, partnering with managers to resolve discrepancies and maintain compliance
• Serve as the go-to resource for employee payroll questions, providing responsive support and issue resolution
• Maintain payroll records and employee updates, including pay changes, taxes, direct deposits, and deductions
• Partner with our payroll provider to ensure payroll taxes, reporting, and deductions are processed accurately
• Support compliance efforts, workers' compensation reporting, audits, and payroll system training for employees

Your Strengths

• Experience processing payroll in a multi-state environment, with a strong understanding of payroll practices and compliance requirements
• Comfortable working with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and Excel; Kronos experience is a plus
• Detail‑oriented and organized, with a knack for spotting issues before they become problems
• Strong communicator who enjoys supporting employees and building relationships across teams
• Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment

Massachusetts pay range: $30–$32 USD
