Auto-Wares is seeking a Payroll Clerk to manage biweekly payroll using Paycom, maintain accurate employee records, and generate reports with audits to ensure compliance. You will handle employee inquiries and help with deductions, direct deposits, and portal access.

The role supports HR and Payroll teams in a fast-paced distribution environment, with opportunities for growth and professional development within Auto-Wares' Michigan operations.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of general clerical, accounting, or payroll processing experience.
• Proficient in Paycom or similar cloud-based HR/payroll software.
• Proficient in Excel with XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in business is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll cycles using Paycom time-and-attendance and payroll modules.
• Maintain and update employee profiles in Paycom (departments, positions, terminations).
• Generate standard and custom payroll reports; audit timekeeping (classification, missing punches).
• Answer employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, direct deposits, and portal access.
• Collaborate with Payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
