Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a payroll professional to support weekly and monthly processing across our system. The role requires strong payroll knowledge, analytical skills, and a systems mindset to balance production tasks with employee inquiries.

The successful candidate will audit retro transactions, analyze payroll data, and resolve pay-impacting issues. This position is hybrid, onsite at Assembly Row in Somerville, MA, with standard 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience processing payroll with a record of increasing responsibility.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business & Finance preferred or equivalent experience.
• CPP/FPC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run the payroll process from start to finish, ensuring accurate calculations and timely payments.
• Audit retro transactions and complete processing to meet deadlines.
• Analyze reports and audits to prevent payroll errors and ensure data integrity.
• Provide Tier 2 payroll support via ServiceNow, explaining taxes, garnishments, overtime, and deductions.
• Process adjustments (retro pay, hours, balances, earnings, taxes) as directed.
