Qualifications

• Working knowledge of payroll fundamentals and principles.
• Two-year associate degree in accounting or business administration or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with payroll in construction, multistate and union environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timecard submission, review, and verification for hourly, salaried, and union employees.
• Coordinate with field operations to capture labor hours.
• Review payroll for accuracy, changes, deductions, and funding.
• Reconcile pay and timecards with policies and labor agreements.
• Maintain payroll records and data privacy compliance.
• Answer employee questions about pay, benefits, and accruals.
• Process new hires, terminations, and payroll changes with HR and Payroll Manager.
• Collaborate with Finance and HR to support reporting and cost-control objectives.
• Execute payroll-related financial controls and prepare supporting documents.
