The role requires 2–3 years of payroll experience, a 4-year degree, and strong Paycom skills. You will work with HR and Finance on changes, year-end tasks, and inquiries, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in a day shift.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, HR, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of payroll processing experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in Paycom payroll software.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees, including salary, hourly, and commission-based staff.
• Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Calculate and process deductions such as taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management and finance teams.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, tax withholdings, and direct deposits.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for audits.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance on compensation changes, new hires, and terminations.
• Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 and tax filings.
• Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices.
