Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Albuquerque, NM office on-site. You will process weekly and biweekly payroll for multiple departments, ensure accurate wages, overtime, and deductions, and maintain payroll records in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

You'll collaborate with HR and accounting on employee changes, assist with payroll tax filings, and respond to payroll inquiries. A 2+ year payroll background and experience with ADP or Paychex are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing preferred.
• Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP or Paychex.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and biweekly payroll for employees across multiple departments.
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
