Jobot is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Rio Rancho team, handling weekly and biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff on-site. You will ensure accurate wages, overtime, deductions, and multi-state compliance while maintaining meticulous payroll records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience, ideally within construction or a similar industry.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
• Familiarity with certified payroll and/or prevailing wage is a plus.
• Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions.
• Manage multi-state payroll compliance, including tax withholdings.
• Handle certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting (if applicable).
• Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy in systems.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams on employee changes and reporting.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
