Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our construction-focused team in Rio Rancho, NM. You will process weekly and biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff, ensuring accurate wages, overtime, and deductions while maintaining records in our systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience, ideally within construction or similar industry.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
• Familiarity with certified payroll and prevailing wage is a plus.
• Proficiency with payroll systems such as ADP or Paychex.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions
• Manage multi-state payroll compliance, including tax withholdings
• Handle certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting (if applicable)
• Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy in systems
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams on employee changes and reporting
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
