Charter Schools USA is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate bi-weekly payroll processing across multiple locations. You will validate time entries, maintain data integrity, and support inquiries while complying with policy and deadlines.

The role requires experience with multi-state payroll, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of federal/state/local tax regulations. ADP Vantage and related systems familiarity is a plus. Fort Lauderdale, FL onsite position.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP and PivotTables.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Proficient in ADP Vantage and other payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, schedule and process bi-weekly payrolls.
• Review and research payroll errors for accuracy.
• Post transactions in ADP Vantage System.
• Verify time entries comply with policies.
• Process retroactive transactions and payments.
• Run payroll audits to ensure data integrity.
• Maintain accurate records and respond to inquiries.
• Assist employees with payroll-related questions (W-2/W-4).
