Job summary

The position requires 3–5+ years of hands-on payroll experience, familiarity with unemployment claims, garnishments, and child support orders, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on payroll experience supporting a multi-state workforce.
• Experience with unemployment claims, wage garnishments, and child support orders is required.
• Experience with a payroll system; ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with payroll reports and employee data.
• Knowledge of payroll processes, deadlines, and timekeeping.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll processing and maintain employee payroll records and changes.
• Review payroll data, timekeeping information, deductions, and adjustments for accuracy.
• Handle employee payroll questions and research discrepancies.
• Administer unemployment claims, wage garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, and other required deductions.
• Prepare payroll reports, spreadsheets, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Partner with HR and other internal teams to resolve payroll issues.
• Assist with audits, payroll verifications, final pay, off-cycle payments, and special projects.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information.
