Tectonic Engineering Consultants, Geologists & Land Surveyors, D.P.C. is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to oversee payroll for a multi-state professional services organization in a full-time capacity.

The role emphasizes accurate, timely processing and strong ADP Workforce Now expertise. The ideal candidate will manage multi-state payroll operations, ensure compliance with FLSA and local tax requirements, and support payroll-related audits while maintaining precise employee records

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of payroll processing experience, multi-state environments.
• Strong knowledge of FLSA, payroll tax regulations, and wage compliance.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is required.
• AEC or professional services payroll experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit employee timesheets, including manual entry into ADP Workforce Now.
• Administer full-cycle payroll for multi-state operations and weekly cycles.
• Maintain payroll records, tax withholdings, direct deposits and benefit deductions.
• Process expense reports, reimbursements, PTO, and time-off requests.
• Assist with 401(k) administration, compliance reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Support audits including project-related reporting as needed.
