Job summary

LEGENDS GLOBAL, Sacramento area, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to handle time-keeping validation and accurate venue payroll processing. You will manage data in HRIS/Time & Attendance, review hires/terminations, and ensure payroll accuracy while maintaining confidentiality.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, the ability to work in a fast-paced stadium environment, and collaboration with teammates. Experience with Ultimate Software is preferred. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of payroll processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting.
• General knowledge of basic accounting practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with stadium event schedules.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with Ultimate Software (ABI/Workday) systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and validates time-keeping records for non-exempt staff.
• Prepares venue payroll in a timely and accurate manner, including hours and payroll controls.
• Data processing in HRIS and Time & Attendance system.
• Review and process employee new hire/rehire information and terminations.
• Responsible for accuracy of all payrolls.
• Ensures all payroll forms are distributed, received, recorded, and filed as appropriate.
• Provides customer service to all internal employees and outside contacts.
• Practice safe work habits and complete safety training as required.
