Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Payroll and Payables Accountant to manage bi-weekly payrolls using ADP Enterprise EV5 and support accounts payable for INTRUST Bank Arena, Orpheum Theatre, and Capitol Federal Amphitheater. This role requires accuracy, strong accounting knowledge, and the ability to work with event schedules.

You will input invoices into D365, coordinate with department heads for approvals, and assist in monthly statements and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of payroll processing.
• ADP Enterprise EV5 experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Microsoft D365.
• Understanding of payroll taxes, laws, regulations, and overtime calculations.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process facility bi-weekly payroll, including the IATSE union stagehands.
• Import IATSE Union stagehand hours from event timesheets and verify accuracy.
• Process wage garnishments, deductions, and payments for applicable employees.
• Calculate and process vacation, sick, and other time-off benefits.
• Prepare payroll adjustments and bi-weekly payroll journal entries.
• Prepare monthly payroll and vacation accruals.
• Accurately input payable invoices into Microsoft D365 daily; coordinate with department heads for approvals and GL coding.
• Prepare weekly vendor check runs and ensure timely payments.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements for all locations.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with live event settlements and related activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
