Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska, seeks an individual contributor to manage bi-weekly and weekly payroll data entry, processing and reconciliation.

You will meet deadlines with accuracy, apply federal/state tax withholding rules, and respond to employee questions about payroll policies and procedures. The ideal candidate has strong data entry and analytical skills, confidentiality, and experience with payroll systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of work/educational experience or an Associate's degree.
• Experience handling highly confidential information.
• Strong analytical and data entry skills with high accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of Federal Wage and Hour Law.
• Understanding of federal and state payroll tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly payroll processing for assigned units/locations.
• Edit, code, and enter all payroll data for assigned locations.
• Provide timekeeping guidance to site managers/HR representatives.
• Respond to employee and supervisor payroll policy questions.
• Maintain payroll reports and distribute to site contacts.
• Act as the payroll contact for sites/locations and backup to team members.
