Job summary

Escalante Golf is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support biweekly payrolls across multiple states for our Fort Worth offices. The role collaborates with our payroll service provider, Dayforce, ensuring accurate processing and timely delivery of payrolls.

You will maintain records, audit reports, and resolve inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality. Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of payroll experience, familiarity with HRIS systems, and strong Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of payroll experience required.
• Experience with payroll/HRIS systems (Ceridian Dayforce experience a plus).
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in both verbal and written communication.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Rigorous attention to detail to ensure fast and precise data entry and processing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with biweekly payrolls across 2 pay groups for multiple states and EINs
• Review timekeeping records for 33 entities, hours worked, tips, and overtime
• Maintain and update employee payroll records to ensure accuracy across pay periods
• Audit payroll reports before and after processing for accuracy
• Respond to employee and manager payroll inquiries in a timely manner
• Assist with garnishments, child support, and other wage attachments
• Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations
• Assist with internal and external audits and provide required documentation
• Support Dayforce system troubleshooting and issues resolution
• Researching and resolving employee pay issues and direct deposit concerns
• Identifies opportunities to improve payroll processes and documents them in clear SOPs for team and field support.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a understanding of payroll processes, a working knowledge of regulatory requirements, and an ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. This role requires organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively. The Payroll Specialist will work with our payroll service provider, Dayforce, and employees to ensure timely and accurate payrolls.

Preferred Certifications

• FPC or CPP (PayrollOrg) preferred, not required

Salary range $55k based on experience
