We are seeking an organized, detail-driven HR & Payroll Generalist to join our team in our Dallas, TX office. This is a 100% on-site, in-office role responsible for daily human resources operations and end-to-end payroll workflows. The ideal candidate must possess advanced, hands-on experience using ADP Workforce Now to manage employee cycles, compliance structures, and process accurate bi-weekly compensation datasets.
Core Responsibilities
- End-to-End Payroll Processing : Execute accurate, timely payroll routines utilizing ADP Workforce Now; manage hourly time tracking, overtime rules, payroll garnishments, and final tax reconciliation steps.
- System Optimization (ADP WFN): Serve as the internal system expert for ADP software modules, handling profile setups, reporting extraction, data cleanup, and system updates.
- HR Operations : Oversee a group of golf course employee file updates and general administrative needs.
- Onboarding & Talent Support : Facilitate candidate interview logistics, execute formal background checks, track I-9 verification procedures, and manage a group of Golf Clubs/courses for new-hire orientations.
- Benefits assistance : Help support annual open enrollment routines, track insurance premiums via payroll deductions, and assist the Benefits Manager where needed with administrative task.
- Compliance Alignment : Enforce compliance relative to multi-state wage laws and broad federal guidelines (FMLA, ACA, EEOC).
Required Qualifications
- Experience : 2–5 years of blended experience handling human resources administrative tasks and direct payroll processing.
- Experience processing multi-state payrolls.
- Experience supporting audits, compliance reporting, and process improvements.
- Advanced knowledge of payroll regulations, tax requirements, and wage and hour laws.
- Software Expertise : Minimum 2 years of hands-on technical experience explicitly using payroll and HRIS platforms such as Workday, UKG, ADP, Ceridian Dayforce, Paycom, or Oracle HCM.
- Work Arrangement : Willingness and availability to work full-time on-site at our Dallas corporate office.
- Skills : High-tier quantitative capabilities, strict confidentiality management skills, and clear communication mechanics.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
- Education & Credentials : Bachelor’s degree in HR or Finance, or professional designations (e.g., SHRM-CP , PHR, or Certified Payroll Professional).
