Responsibilities

• Assist with quarterly and annual payroll reporting, including W-2s and filings.
• Stay current on changes to state and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and other teams to resolve payroll issues and improve processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and efficiency.

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll accurately and efficiently across multiple states. This role will be responsible for ensuring timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing support to employees and internal teams regarding payroll-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll for employees across multiple states and jurisdictions
• Review and validate payroll data, including timekeeping, earnings, deductions, bonuses, and adjustments
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and update payroll information as needed
• Prepare and reconcile payroll reports and payroll-related general ledger accounts
• Coordinate payroll tax filings, payments, and year-end reporting
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
• Manage payroll-related onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes
• Assist with quarterly and annual payroll reporting, including W-2s and other required filings
• Stay current on changes to state and local payroll laws, tax requirements, and regulations
